Biography

Dr. Antonio Ocana, MSc, MD, is a Vancouver-based physician. He sits at the crossroads of family medicine, mental health, addiction medicine and digital mental health. His clinical work focuses on the treatment of complex psychiatric comorbidity in outpatient settings. Dr. Ocana is the founder of Epiphany.ai, an AI-powered mobile application that analyzes real-world clinical data to identify patient narratives associated with recovery in mental health and substance use disorders. His research explores the use of longitudinal behavioral metrics and machine learning to improve risk stratification and treatment sequencing in addiction psychiatry. Dr. Ocana’s work aims to bridge everyday clinical practice with data-driven insights that support more adaptive and effective mental health care.
