He holds a PhD in treatment effectiveness and impact evaluation from the University of Sheffield and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. His clinical practice focuses on comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation-driven intervention, and evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, comorbid anxiety and mood disorders, trauma histories, and personality-related difficulties. Dr Papamalis adopts an integrative therapeutic approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, incorporating trauma-informed, relational, and person-centred principles. He has extensive experience in risk assessment, relapse prevention, motivational enhancement, and multidisciplinary collaboration within structured care settings.
