Biography

Dr Gladys Bathabile Bhuda is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Work at the University of South Africa (Unisa). She plays a pivotal role in teaching and learning at the undergraduate level, while also guiding and supervising postgraduate students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees. Her research expertise lies in social work supervision, social work administration and social work management, and the practice of social work within health settings. With teaching and learning forming the foundation of her academic career, she also engages in research on pedagogical approaches, aiming to enhance student competency and improve academic outcomes. Through her dedication to both scholarship and mentorship, Dr Bhuda endeavors to contribute significantly to the advancement of social work education and the professional development of future practitioners and researchers.
