Biography

He is  Dr Vinayak Prasad – I graduated form Hull-York Medical School in 2020. Following this he undertook Foundation training – FY1 in Hull & FY2 in York. Afterwards he took a year out of training before entering Core Psychiatry Training. He completed Core Psychiatry training in Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust on 4^th August 2026; now a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists and Section 12 Approval pending.

Research interests:

Currently about to participate in data collection for Mersey Care project - A dynamic, query-driven knowledge base project using AI for mood disorder prescribing – I will be assisting a data scientist in collating trusted academic resources (papers, guidelines) for specific medications.

He is interested in Forensic Psychiatry and would like to pursue future research in this subject area.
